About strawberry
Strawberry is the most popular freeze-dried fruit in the world. Mahabaleshwar, in the hills of Maharashtra, produces most of India's strawberries during the cool winter months.
Why freeze-dried
Fresh strawberries last only a few days. Freeze-dried, they stay crisp and full of flavour for months, and the powder adds natural colour and taste to drinks and baking.
How buyers use it
- Breakfast cereals and granola
- Chocolate and confectionery
- Smoothie, milkshake and drink powders
- Baking, frostings and decorations
Sourcing and season
We buy fresh strawberries from growers around Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani during the winter season.
Packing and storage
We supply food-grade, moisture-proof bulk packs and retail-ready pouches, including private label. Keep packs sealed in a cool, dry place. Once opened, reseal tightly, because freeze-dried food absorbs moisture from the air. Full specifications and certificates are shared with every quote.
