About Nanjangud Rasabale banana
Rasabale is a traditional banana grown in the black soils around Nanjangud, known locally for its distinctive aroma and soft, sweet flesh. It holds a Geographical Indication, and only a small area is still cultivated, which makes it a true specialty.
Why freeze-dried
An ordinary banana is an everyday product, but Rasabale has a heritage story and a protected origin. Freeze-dried slices preserve its aroma and make this rare fruit available to buyers far from Mysuru.
How buyers use it
- Heritage and gourmet snack packs
- Specialty and gift retail
- Baby food and smoothie powders
- Story-led products for diaspora buyers
Sourcing and season
We work with growers and local buyers in Nanjangud. Because supply is very limited, we offer Rasabale in small batches.
Packing and storage
We supply food-grade, moisture-proof bulk packs and retail-ready pouches, including private label. Keep packs sealed in a cool, dry place. Once opened, reseal tightly, because freeze-dried food absorbs moisture from the air. Full specifications and certificates are shared with every quote.
