About Alphonso mango
Alphonso, or Hapus, is the mango buyers around the world recognise by name. It is prized for its saffron-coloured flesh, smooth texture and intense sweetness, and holds a Geographical Indication for the Konkan region.
Why freeze-dried
Alphonso's season is short and the fresh fruit is delicate and expensive to ship. Freeze-dried pieces keep the famous flavour and can be sold all year as a premium, named product.
How buyers use it
- Premium snack and gift packs
- Breakfast cereals and granola
- Chocolate and confectionery inclusions
- Gourmet dessert toppings
Sourcing and season
We buy ripe Alphonso from orchards and traders in the Ratnagiri and Devgad GI zone during the April to May harvest.
Packing and storage
We supply food-grade, moisture-proof bulk packs and retail-ready pouches, including private label. Keep packs sealed in a cool, dry place. Once opened, reseal tightly, because freeze-dried food absorbs moisture from the air. Full specifications and certificates are shared with every quote.
Questions
Is it genuine Alphonso?
Yes. We source from the Ratnagiri and Devgad region and can share origin details with your quote.
Why is it priced higher than other mango?
Alphonso costs more fresh and has a short season. For powders and blends, our Kesar and Badami mango is a more economical choice.
What is the minimum order?
Minimum order quantities depend on the format and packing. We start with sample orders, and include MOQs with every quote.
